    Stop Running Water

posted Apr 14, 2014, 9:55 AM by Lynn Joholski

Thank you so much for your cooperation during this very long and difficult winter.  It is now safe to stop running water in your home.  We adjusted the March water and sewer billing to reflect December 2013 billing.  In June we will once again review the bills and adjust for the additional water used during the first few weeks in April.  Since there is no way to determine exactly how much extra water ran during this period, we will be using averages from past billing.  If you are new to the Village and do not have a billing history, we will try to determine a fair usage by reviewing your current water usage.  Again thank you and if you have any questions don't hesitate to call the Village office at 452-3168.

Run Water in Your Home to Prevent Freezing Lines

posted Feb 10, 2014, 12:47 PM by Lynn Joholski

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT - The Coon Valley Municipal Water Utility is requesting Village residents to run their cold water a pencil size stream in one faucet of their home.  Running a thin stream of cold water will help prevent freezing of water lines.  Please run water until further notice.  We will have announcements on local radio and television stations notifying residents when they can discontinue running water.  Your March water/sewer bill will be adjusted to allow for the additional water use.  If you have any questions, please call the Village Office at 452-3168.
